Here are some suggestions:
Bee Sting
- Put a drop of Lavender oil on a bee sting or insect bite to stop itching and reduce swelling.
Burns/Cuts
- Put 2-3 drops Lavender oil on a minor burn to decrease pain.
- Put a drop of Lavender oil on a cut to stop bleeding, it cleans the wound, and kills the bacteria.
Cold Sore
- Put a drop of lavender oil on a cold sore.
Diffuser
Lavender has a calming scent which makes it an excellent tonic for the nerves and anxiety issues.
- Putting 5-6 drops in your diffuser will help your nervous system and be very helpful for a good night's sleep.
Inhalation
- Rub 2-3 drops of Lavender oil in your cupped palms, then use the inhalation method to draw the scent all the way into your amygdala gland in your brain to calm the mind. Then,
- Rub on the feet, temples, wrists (or anywhere) for an immediate calming effect on the body.
Massage
Lavender essential oil is known as an excellent remedy for various types of pains including those caused by sore and tense muscles, muscular aches, rheumatism, sprains, backache, and lumbago
- Add 2-3 drops, to 1 teaspoon of carrier oil rub on the affected area.
