Steam Inhalation Add a few drops of oregano oil to a bowl of boiling water, place a towel over your head and breathe in the powerful vapors for 5-10 minutes. This home remedy is excellent for those suffering from sinus infections or pneumonia.
Diffuser Add several drops of oregano oil in your diffuser and breathe in the medicinal vapors. Great for cold and flu season. Great for allergy season!
Inhale directly Feeling stuffy at work? A deep sniff of oregano oil directly from the bottle is a great pick-me-up and can help open up the airways.
Ear Infections Apply topically: Add 2-3 drops of oregano oil with 2-3 drops of carrier oil such as jojoba or coconut oil and rub and massage it on the outside of the ear. The oil will permeate the skin and absorb into the tissues and help alleviate pain and throbbing in the ear.
Be careful not to get it inside the ear canal.
