Almond oil is very useful in loosening the wax and dirt, thereby reducing the risk of infection. While the lavender is good for ear infections and skin irritations.
These are the essential oils used and their benefits.
Lavender: It is good for many common dog ailments and problems, e.g. ear infections, skin irritations, anxiety, insect bites, cuts and burns, motion sickness and Lavender is very calming.
Almond oil: This oil is very useful in loosening the wax and dirt, thereby reducing the risk of infection.
Add 2-4 drops on a cotton pad and clean inside the dog's ears.
If needed use the Ear Infection blend to soothe any itching or irritations your dog may have.
If symptoms persist for more than two weeks, take your dog to the veterinarian for an evaluation, which will involve a physical exam and possibly X-rays.
Do not use lavender essential oil if your dog is pregnant or nursing.
