Shipping Policy

Shipping
Our products are handcrafted and packaged on-site. We strive to ship within 3 business days, during high volume times this may increase to 7 business days. We carefully package and ship out as soon as possible. 

Purchases will be shipped via Canada Post from our Cornwall, Ontario location unless otherwise indicated. You can expect your purchase to arrive within 3-14 business days from our shipment of your order, dependent on your location.

Shipping and handling costs are based on the total weight of your order and the current rate of shipping via Canada Post. Our postal provider has a standard base rate, keep in mind that the shipping rate could be the same price if clients purchased multiple products instead of ordering only one product.

All our packages are mailed in recycled padded paper mailers. Our boxes are made of cardboard with brown paper and occasionally air pillows and bubble wrap. We recycle/reuse these when they arrive in packages we order. Some shipments will also be sent in a recyclable padded envelope.

 
Business International Shipping
We only use our Canadian couriers to get the best pricing for you.  We do not accept other shipping companies and we will not pay directly to any other shipper.  We use Canada Export to validate the Business so this will require a full business name, telephone number, and a complete address. Canada Export will ensure this is a true customer and will insure the purchase and shipping for The Soap Shop only.

Out of Stock Items
In the event that an ordered item is Out of Stock and we can’t process your order, we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. If your item is out of stock, we will contact you to discuss how you would like the order handled.

Order Cancellation And Changes
We do not accept order cancellations or changes once an order has been processed. If you have a question about your order, please contact us through the website or at info@thesoapshop.ca.

Lost Package?

You will receive a tracking number via email. Once your package has been reported as delivered to your home it is no longer our responsibility, and we will not be held responsible for lost or stolen packages after that point. If your package is lost during transit, an insurance claim can be filed 15 days after the day of shipment. Once that time period has passed, we will file a claim and ship out a new package. We are not responsible for incorrect addresses. Please make sure you enter your correct address on your order to avoid disappointment.
